As Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Silivri Hotel, we aim to continuously improve energy efficiency. In this context, our responsible and competent team monitors and evaluates our energy consumption on a monthly and yearly basis.
Our hotel is committed to the continuous improvement of energy efficiency. To fulfill this commitment, we have adopted the following principles as our policy, in line with our energy usage, consumption structure, and scale:
Every month, “energy reports” are updated to identify key energy usage points.
Measures are taken and relevant investments are made to reduce energy consumption.
The hotel’s technical department managers monitor energy consumption points, work to ensure accurate and efficient energy consumption, and keep records to track their targets.
All department managers train their staff on energy efficiency and monitor their targets.
The legal regulations published by the relevant ministry are complied with and followed.
In addition to these efforts, new investments are evaluated in terms of energy efficiency, and new services are designed with the specific goal of reducing energy intensity.
Alongside efforts to increase energy efficiency, we continue to conduct feasibility studies on renewable energy use to reduce our carbon footprint in line with sustainable development goals and the European Green Deal.
Furthermore,
Without compromising our guest satisfaction and quality-focused service approach;
We will reduce our consumption of electricity, LNG, natural gas, and diesel fuel, which we use intensively in our hotel, in the long term.
We will continuously increase energy efficiency.
We will use energy and natural resources efficiently.
We will use environmentally friendly products in equipment purchases.
We will use energy resources consciously without wasting them and raise awareness among our staff on this issue; we will continuously monitor and improve energy performance to ensure the development of energy performance.
We will strive to research, find, purchase, and use energy-efficient products, equipment, tools, and technology alternatives.
We commit to setting energy policy-compliant targets with the participation of our management and employees, creating actions to achieve these targets, reviewing them regularly, and providing the necessary resources.
We commit to ensuring the correct implementation of the requirements of the energy management system (ISO 50001).
We commit to undergoing a continuous improvement process to achieve these goals.
